The Backstory

From Personal Pain to Universal Purpose

My journey into chiropractic wasn’t planned — it was personal.

I grew up incredibly active, playing every sport I could get my hands on, but ice hockey was my passion. I played throughout high school and continued in college, fully expecting to earn a business degree and follow a traditional career path.

Then, during my junior year, everything changed. I was in a car accident that left me with severe neck and back pain. Like most athletes, I tried to push through it — ice, stretching, over-the-counter pain meds — but nothing worked. I could barely sleep, let alone play.

That’s when someone suggested I see a chiropractor. I’ll be honest — I didn’t really know what to expect. But after my first few visits, something incredible happened: not only did my pain disappear, but I also noticed my body moving better than it had in years. My energy improved, my focus sharpened, and I felt alive again.

It was a pivotal moment. I realized this was more than pain relief — it was potential unlocked. Within months, I changed my major, finished my prerequisites, and enrolled in chiropractic school. That decision completely redirected the course of my life.

Years later, after helping thousands of patients experience similar breakthroughs, I began noticing something curious. A small percentage of patients — despite excellent adjustments and progress — would hit a ceiling. Their pain might improve temporarily, but it would return, or they’d still struggle with fatigue, brain fog, or inflammation that didn’t make sense structurally.

So I started digging deeper. I reviewed lab work, studied their medications, and began connecting the dots between the musculoskeletal system and internal physiology — thyroid function, gut health, inflammation, hormones, and nutrient status. It became crystal clear: the nervous system doesn’t exist in isolation. You can’t fully restore structure if the body’s chemistry is working against it.

That discovery led me to integrate functional medicine testing and root-cause analysis into my chiropractic approach. Today, every patient’s plan is designed not just to align their spine — but to align their whole system.

Because real healing happens when structure, chemistry, and lifestyle are all in sync. That’s the foundation of how I practice, and it all started with one accident that changed everything.

My Mission

From Dismissed to Empowered

To empower every person who’s been told “everything looks normal” while still living in pain, stiffness, or fatigue — to finally understand and restore what their body has been trying to say all along.

After experiencing my own life-changing recovery through chiropractic care, and helping thousands of patients find relief from pain they thought they’d just have to live with, I realized something deeper: true healing goes far beyond the spine.

We live in a world where nearly every symptom is met with a prescription — where pain, sleep issues, or stress are managed with pills rather than understanding. The pharmaceutical model has its place, but it’s become the default answer for problems that are often mechanical, neurological, or lifestyle-driven. When the body’s natural communication systems are out of alignment, no medication can restore what movement, balance, and function were designed to achieve.

That’s why I created this practice — to be the opposite of that model. My mission is to help you uncover the why behind your discomfort and restore the natural harmony between structure, movement, and physiology.

I believe that everyone deserves access to care that looks at the whole person — not just the part that hurts. The nervous system, the spine, the muscles, and even your internal chemistry all work together. Ignoring one means never fully healing the others.

Every plan I design integrates precise chiropractic adjustments with deeper functional insights — addressing the physical misalignments that stress your body and the internal systems that limit recovery.

My commitment is to create a place where your story is heard, your pain is validated, and your progress is measurable. A place where the goal isn’t just to “feel better,” but to function better — to move freely, live fully, and reconnect with the vitality you were designed for.

This is the work that drives me every day: helping you reclaim ownership of your health and reminding you that your body was never broken — it just needed the right conditions to heal.
